An Innovative Beginning : IRSF began its work in the feild of Road Safety with an innovative School Education Program. An interactive and age specific module was prepared in consultation with RTO, Traffic Police, Educationists and
Experts. The inovative module has the following distinctive Qualities:
- It is age specific : 8th to 12th Students.
- Is interactive at all levels with specific information, videos, Q & A sessions, quiz & games.
- Made by Road Safety Experts , Educationists, Traffic Police and IRSF Team.
- Can be customized as per the specific area requirments.
- Is research and data supported.
- IRSF has been recognized for their excellent work in the field of road safety by various institutions and government authorities.
The On Road Campaigns are conducted at important crossings of cities that have 90 to 95 seconds of stoppage/waiting. These are done exclusively with school & college students. Through pantomime and voice over students emphasize use
of quality helmets and seat belts while as many hold placards with related messages. The Group saves about 20 seconds to directly interact and check any lapse in the use of safety gears, stopping at the stop line etc. The campaigns
are a good way to keep people alive to the issues of road safety and keep the volunteer spirit alive amongst interns and volunteers.
Designed specialy for creating awareness for all stakeholders involved in Road Safety. The road shows have elements of entertainment like songs, street plays, acrobats, exhibition through flex, banners and all conveying road safety
messages. For this IRSF team of volunteers chooses an open space, mall, bazzar, traffic island, in the centre of a busy market place. It is an special addition during the annual Road Safety Week. It has an interactive format with
direct audience interaction and transfer of relevant information through an anchor.
IRSF has been observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims - World Health Organization (WHO) on 21st November. IRSF facilitates to the people who have been contributing with their smart work in the field of road
safety by awarding SURAKSHA SARATHI Award. Oath on be a Good Samaritan and citizen who obeys the traffic rule.
IRSF is instrumental in formation TSC(Traffic Safety Club/Committies ) in various schools, colleges and establishments. This clubs/committees work with a dedicated approach towards area of road safety. Every year minimum 4 activities
are conducted to create traffic and road safety awareness, information about latest rules and acts related to road safety, taining on life saving by experts and doctors, etc.
